about

Hey there. My name is Jessie Manos. Here’s a little bit about me:

I come from a big, high-spirited Italian family in suburbs of Los Angeles, CA. I earned my BFA in Photography and Video from the New York School of Visual Arts in 2019. After many years of traveling back and forth, I officially relocated to Nashville in 2021 and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I live here with my partner Joseph and our pup Luna.

I spend much of my free time exploring new local businesses and restaurants. On the weekends, I look forward to a stopping by the farmers market for some goodies, followed by an afternoon of perusing the current selection at my favorite book store. I have recently picked up a passion for yoga, so any extra time I have leads me to 60 minutes of self care and reflection.

During the day, I am the Visual Brand Manager at a local jewelry business, Yearly Co. I feel lucky that not only do I have a role that satisfies the artist in me, but I have the opportunity to establish a consistent visual resonance throughout our brand. I spend my days designing graphics, creating shot lists for my upcoming shoots, and making sure everything we put out is in line with our brand standards. It’s an added bonus that I work with a team of intelligent and driven women who are always a source of motivation.

When not working behind the camera, my creative interests lie heavily in the kitchen. I find a unique type of creative satisfaction when preparing a meal and curating an experience for loved ones. Hosting a dinner party is a ritual I encourage myself to uphold monthly. As a child, cooking weekly with my grandfather instilled a deep love and appreciation for tradition and special fleeting moments.

My desire to preserve those moments drives my eye when behind the camera.
